Q and A

Question

I keep getting pills with different names. Is this ok?

My clinic keeps giving me pills with different names like Atroiza, Tribuss, Odimune. Is this ok?

Answer

Hi,

Those pills are all generic versions (copies) of a pill called Atripla. They all contain the same ingredients and work the same way. They only have different names because they are made by different companies. It is ok to use these as long as you do not take more than one a day.

You can find more information about Atripla in our online medication guide. You will also find a list of names of more generic versions.
