Do I need to be on ARVs if I want to have kids?

I’m positive, my wife is negative. We want to have kids. Do I need to be on medication?

If you want to try for a family, you’ll need to be on meds. This will stop you from transmitting HIV to your wife. You should also be on meds for your own health. For more info about starting meds, please see here:
