I need some help. I can’t take my meds at night. Can I take them in the middle of the day?

Some ARVs – especially efavirenz – definitely need to be taken before you go to bed. For most people (i.e. unless you work shifts) this will be at night.
This is so you get any side effects while you are asleep. Taking efavirenz during the day will make most people feel very dizzy and disorientated.
There is much more choice for taking other HIV meds – when you can choice times that fit in with your daily life.
