Is it OK to start medication before my CD4 drops?

I’ve been positive for 3 months, I’m in good health. Can I start medication before my CD4 count drops?

If you’re ready to start medication, then yes you can start. In fact its now recommended that everyone who is positive should start taking meds as soon as they’ve been diagnosed. For more info about starting meds, please see here:
