Are there any known HIV positive people alive over 30yrs post diagnosis?

With the HIV treatment now available HIV positive people have almost the same life expectancy to HIV negative people. HIV treatment has been around for about 15 years now. Those people who had access to these drugs 15 years ago are still alive today and have been living with HIV for 20-30 years. However, unfortunately many people who were infected 30 years ago are not around today because they did not have access to medications in time. We are very lucky that treatment is available today and that the life expectancy of someone who is HIV positive is getting longer all the time.
