Can Trizivir cause side effects like apathy and lack of concentration?

Could Trizivir (AZT + 3TC + abacavir) cause long term apathy, despondency, attention deficit and lack of concentration?

Apathy, despondency, attention deficit and lack of concentration are not commonly associated with Trizivir. However, fatigue is related to all HIV medications and fatigue can cause these symptoms.
Are you having trouble sleeping? Are you feeling very tired?
If you could give me more information such as your CD4 count and viral load both now and when you started treatment I may be able to give you a more accurate answer.
More importantly, these sound like difficult and troubling symptoms which may be related to another underlying cause. Any symptom you experience must be discussed with your HIV doctor.
