Does hepatitis C infection interfere with HIV tests?
I have heard that HCV co-infection with HIV can interfere with the window period to test for HIV antibodies….is this true? If so, how long should one wait before testing for HIV?

No. I have not heard this. HIV antibody tests work just as well for people who have hepatitis C.
