Can I travel to Dubai and the Oman?

Hi,
Can I travel to the Oman and Dubai if I am positive? I read that if the customs find tablets on you they will deport you back and you wont be allowed in ever again.
I know the rules in the arab emirates for drugs – including paracetamol (can I take that with me?) – are very strict so want to check before I go.
Do I need some special letter from my dr? What do I do if they find my medication on me?
