I’m using Atroiza and I feel like i’m losing my mind. What’s going on?

I’m using Atroiza but it is causing nausea and i feel like i’m losing my mind. I can’t handle them. I had no problem with the pills i was on before. What’s going on?

Any symptoms you have should be discussed with your clinic or doctor. They can help you work out what is causing them and how to address them.

In the UK, if someone was having a reaction like yours, they would normally be offered a different combination. If there wasn’t a medical reason they had been changed off their previous combination they might go back to that. Your clinic or doctor should be able to tall to you about wether this is possible. It is important that you are on treatment that works for you and that you are comfortable with.

Atroiza is a generic version (a copy) of a pill called Atripla. It has the same ingredients, just a different name because a different company makes it. The symptoms you are describing sound like they could be caused by efavirenz. Efavirenz is one of the three meds in Atroiza.
