{"id":12545,"date":"2003-12-01T06:27:37","date_gmt":"2003-12-01T06:27:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/?p=12545"},"modified":"2014-05-27T10:22:23","modified_gmt":"2014-05-27T10:22:23","slug":"volume-4-number-10-december-2003","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/12545","title":{"rendered":"Volume 4 Number 10 December 2003"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Since our last HTB there have been some significant steps forward in terms of treatment access in resource poor settings including the announcement from the Clinton Foundation of a price of as low 36 cents per day for triple combination therapy &#8211; covered in the treatment access news.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Closer to home, we report from the 9th European AIDS Conference (EACS), held this Autumn in Warsaw.<\/p>\n<p>FTC has been approved in Europe, and ataznavir received a positive opinion from the CPMP but only for treatment of experienced patients and only when boosted with ritonavir.<\/p>\n<p>Even closer, CHIVA and i-Base organised a workshop to discuss the transition of HIV-positive adolescents from paediatric to adult care.
