{"id":27724,"date":"2015-01-29T12:20:19","date_gmt":"2015-01-29T12:20:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/?p=27724"},"modified":"2015-01-29T14:08:39","modified_gmt":"2015-01-29T14:08:39","slug":"global-fund-releases-end-2104-numbers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/27724","title":{"rendered":"Global Fund releases end-2104 numbers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Global Fund Observer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The number of people receiving antiretroviral therapy through programmes supported by the Global Fund reached an estimated 7.3 million by the end of 2014, a 20% increase over a year earlier.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A total 450 million insecticide-treated nets to prevent malaria were distributed, up 25% over 2013&#8217;s total of 360 million.<\/p>\n<p>The number of TB cases detected and treated rose from 11.2 million a year ago to 12.3 million at the end of 2014, a 9% increase.<\/p>\n<p>Other key results numbers announced by the Fund on World AIDS Day, 1 December, show year-on-year increases ranging from 4% to 38% (See Table1).
