{"id":28812,"date":"2015-08-01T09:21:48","date_gmt":"2015-08-01T09:21:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/?p=28812"},"modified":"2020-07-25T15:37:03","modified_gmt":"2020-07-25T15:37:03","slug":"8th-ias-conference-on-hiv-pathogenesis-treatment-and-prevention-ias-2015-19-22-july-2015-vancouver-canada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/28812","title":{"rendered":"8th IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention (IAS 2015), 19 &#8211; 22 July 2015, Vancouver, Canada"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-28607\" src=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/IAS-2015-logo-top-only1.png\" alt=\"IAS 2015 logo - top only\" width=\"219\" height=\"198\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The 8th IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention (IAS 2015) was held from 19 &#8211; 22 July 2015.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This large biennial meeting has a greater focus on clinical and scientific research than the broader social-based programme of the International AIDS Conference with which it alternates every two years.<\/p>\n<p>The programme for the conference is now posted to the IAS 2015 website as PDF files and the Programme-at-a-Glance (PAG) is also online.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ias2015.org\">http:\/\/www.ias2015.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pag.ias2015.org\">http:\/\/www.pag.ias2015.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Many\u00a0oral\u00a0presentations\u00a0are\u00a0available\u00a0as\u00a0webcasts,\u00a0including\u00a0some\u00a0plenary\u00a0lectures,\u00a0special\u00a0symposia,\u00a0oral\u00a0abstract\u00a0sessions\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0opening\u00a0and\u00a0closing\u00a0ceremonies.\u00a0But\u00a0coverage\u00a0seems\u00a0less\u00a0than\u00a0previous\u00a0years\u00a0and\u00a0this\u00a0is\u00a0a\u00a0pity.\u00a0Many\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0PowerPoint\u00a0slides\u00a0from\u00a0talks\u00a0and\u00a0PDF\u00a0files\u00a0of\u00a0posters\u00a0are\u00a0online.<\/p>\n<p>Although currently access to the this material is predominantly through the online programme-at-a-glace, for those who find navigation takes slightly longer, i-Base have published a short access guide.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, URL hyperlinks to individual abstracts are not available with the current PAG.
