{"id":33019,"date":"2017-11-28T12:07:30","date_gmt":"2017-11-28T12:07:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/?p=33019"},"modified":"2019-01-10T16:10:14","modified_gmt":"2019-01-10T16:10:14","slug":"sexual-and-reproductive-health-draft-uk-guidelines-online-for-comment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/33019","title":{"rendered":"Sexual and reproductive health: draft UK guidelines online for comment (2017)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The BHIVA\/BASHH\/FSRH guidelines for the sexual and reproductive health of people living with HIV 2017 are open for public consultation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bhiva.org\/SRH-guidelines-consultation.aspx\">http:\/\/www.bhiva.org\/SRH-guidelines-consultation.aspx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Deadline for comments is 17.30 on Friday 8 December 2017.<\/p>\n<p>These are an update to 2007 guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>The guidelines cover:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sexually transmitted infections<\/li>\n<li>Cervical screening<\/li>\n<li>Pre-conception advice &amp; conception<\/li>\n<li>Antiretroviral therapy: impact on transmission &amp; conception<\/li>\n<li>Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and pre-exposure-prophylaxis for conception (PrEP-C)<\/li>\n<li>Investigations in couples affected by HIV, trying to conceive through UPSI<\/li>\n<li>Contraception for Women with HIV<\/li>\n<li>Hormonal contraception and antiretroviral drug-drug interactions<\/li>\n<li>Contraception and HIV Acquisition, Transmission and Disease Progression<\/li>\n<li>Management of the menopause in women living with HIV<\/li>\n<li>Intimate Partner Violence<\/li>\n<li>Female genital mutilation<\/li>\n<li>Sexual dysfunction and HIV<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The guidelines are aimed at all people involved in the provision of services or advice related to the sexual and reproductive health of PLWH and their partners including: HIV clinics, sexual and reproductive health services, primary care, obstetrics, gynaecology and fertility services, community and peer-led organisations, and appropriate commissioners.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The BHIVA\/BASHH\/FSRH guidelines for the sexual and reproductive health of people living with HIV 2017 are open for public consultation. http:\/\/www.bhiva.org\/SRH-guidelines-consultation.aspx Deadline for comments is 17.30 on Friday 8 December 2017.
