On 22 June 2022, UNAIDS announced recent pledges to support the work of UNAIDS, the United Nations Joint Programme on HIV\/AIDS.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This includes noting that the UK government increasing funding to \u00a38 million per year, up from \u00a32.5 million in 2021.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Last year however, the UK cut support by more than 80%. Previously the UK contributed \u00a315 million for each of the previous five years. [2, 3]<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
