{"id":43747,"date":"2022-09-01T06:21:40","date_gmt":"2022-09-01T06:21:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/127.0.0.1\/htb\/?p=43747"},"modified":"2022-09-10T21:52:39","modified_gmt":"2022-09-10T21:52:39","slug":"understanding-hiv-and-monkeypox-coinfection-neat-eacs-dashboard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/43747","title":{"rendered":"Understanding HIV and monkeypox coinfection: NEAT\/EACS dashboard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Simon Collins, HIV i-Base<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-43297\" src=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/typical-MPV-rash-on-hand-2-colour1-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/strong>The NEAT ID Foundation, in partnership with the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS), has developed a real-time\u00a0Dashboard to monitor monkeypox coinfection in people living with HIV.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This data will help understand impact of HIV on morbidity and mortality associated with monkeypox.\u202f<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>For example, it is likely that persons with advanced and uncontrolled HIV may be at a higher risk of severe disease and prolonged viral shedding.\u202f\u00a0This will include some people who are only diagnosed with HIV because of MPX.<\/p>\n<p>This Dashboard will publish cases by country and region, hospitalisations and outcomes, including death.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.NEAT-ID.org\">www.NEAT-ID.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Individual clinic data will only be seen by the submitting site and will be password and security protected.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This project is asking for data to be recorded for the months of April, May and June 2022 and then to input retrospectively on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n<p>For further information please email: <a href=\"mailto:dashboard@neat-id.org\">dashboard@neat-id.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please include your name, email, site name, city, and country.
