{"id":49913,"date":"2025-01-01T15:35:16","date_gmt":"2025-01-01T15:35:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/?p=49913"},"modified":"2025-05-19T14:43:00","modified_gmt":"2025-05-19T14:43:00","slug":"i-base-appeal-maintaining-qa-and-website-services-through-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/49913","title":{"rendered":"i-Base appeal: Q&#038;A services and the website in 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-16496\" src=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/appeal-300x56.png\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/appeal-300x56.png 300w, https:\/\/i-base.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/appeal.png 442w\" alt=\"i-Base appeal\" width=\"300\" height=\"56\" \/><\/h2>\n<p class=\"HTBBODYtext\"><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">Since October 2024, i-Base has been running on an emergency budget.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">This means that support towards i-Base projects is really appreciated and always makes a difference.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/htb\/48024\">changes to i-Base<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0last year will maximise the chance to maintain the website and Q&amp;A services for the next two years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"HTBBODYtext\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">i-Base depends on individual and independent funding to enable us to continue to receive commercial funding for these services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>From October 2025, i-Base is largely run as a volunteer-based project.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/donate\/\"><strong>Please donate online with or without Gift Aid<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<div>\n<h2>Supporting services<\/h2>\n<p><strong>During 2024:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The website was visited by 400,000 people every month, with roughly five million users over a year.<\/li>\n<li>The<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/qa\/\"> i-Base Q&amp;A service<\/a><\/strong> responded individually to more than 7000 emails and comments.<\/li>\n<li>We updated and distributed 20,000 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/uk-guide-to-prep\/\">UK guides to PrEP<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>We updated <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/guides\/\">other key treatment guides online<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>We published <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/htb-2024-weekly-news-posted-online\/\">10 issues of HIV Treatment Bulletin<\/a><\/strong> with dozens of reports from four major HIV conferences,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since October 2024, i-Base has been running on an emergency budget.
