Will my ART work?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi,<\/p>\n<p>It is very important that you talk to your clinic or doctor about the meds you are taking.<\/p>\n<p>Some meds that work with HIV 1 do not work with HIV 2. The efavirenz you are taking does not work against HIV 2. It is important that you are taking three &#8216;active&#8217; drugs so that treatment works well.<\/p>\n<p>Guidelines for HIV 2 in the UK recommend that you use a class of drugs called protease inhibitors.
