Do you have much support?<\/p>\n<p>It is very common for someone to still be negative even if they have not been using condoms with someone who is HIV positive. HIV is quite a difficult virus to catch, so this is also related to risk and luck.<\/p>\n<p>Please see the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/qa\/7308\">full answer here<\/a> as it has been asked before.<\/p>\n<p>It is also worth knowing that HIV treatment can prevent further transmission, provided you maintain an undetectable viral load. I got a new partner in April 2015.
