Many people who are now in their 50s, 60s 70s and 80s who have been living with HIV for more than 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>The earlier someone is diagnosed, the easier HIV is to treat. But some people who are diagnosed late with very low CD4 counts still get excellent responses to treatment.<\/p>\n<p>So long as you are good taking your meds and your viral load stays undetectable, there is no reason it will ever fail.
