Nearly all countries still have structures that are not equal. Many have a history where people were treated differently.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the UK, this still affects access to important services that include education and medical care. This is even when there are policies to make access fair.<\/p>\n<p>However, ethnicity has been linked to higher risk of COVID-19 in black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities. This actually makes access to the vaccines even more important.<\/p>\n<p>As all the studies included people from all ethnicities. There is good data to show they are at least as safe and effective.<\/p>\n<p>COVID vaccines will be offered to people of all ethnicities.
