Yes it is safe to switch from TEE to TLD. Many countries are starting to adopt TLD as first line as it ie better tolerated than TEE with fewer side effects. Switching will not risk increase of your viral load.<\/p>\n
TEE is often taken at night to avoid the side effects of efavirenz which is contained in the combination. TLD is often suggested to be taken in the morning. It contains dolutegravir which can cause problems sleeping.<\/p>\n
