Speaking around the topic with him can help give you an idea of their own feelings around HIV.<\/p>\n<p>I can imagine why you are feeling depressed and wanting to cry. But telling your partner is a very personal decision. You should feel safe to do so. Is it possible for your partner to go for a test without you mentioning your own status? &#8211; how long have you been together?<\/p>\n<p>It is important for people to know their own status. Treatment is the only way to manage HIV. How long has your partner been experiencing these symptoms?
