If so, there is no risk of transmission. This includes having sex without a condom. This is explained by <a href=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/u-equals-u\/\">U=U<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There are a number of other factors that change the risk of HIV transmission. These are discussed <a href=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/guides\/testing\/risks-for-transmission\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Having sex with someone who is HIV positive does not guarantee transmission. Each exposure is unique and risk is changed accordingly. Have you considered using <a href=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/guides\/prep\">PrEP<\/a> if there is a risk of transmission. This is a tablet you can take that will prevent any risk.
