The initial double dose would have initially provided a higher than normal level of drug in your body. This can allow for being late with the next doses.<\/p>\n<p>Being later can reduce the effectiveness but as you still took the last dose, this is going to be much more protective than not taking it at all.<\/p>\n<p>This would not be considered a situation in which to worry.<\/p>\n<p>Josh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I take my prep event based. I took the start up dose at 5:30pm on Monday and had sex about 8:30pm. I then took first follow up dose at 5:30pm on Tuesday.
