Has he had any recent viral load\/CD4 tests done? and why did they stop with their medication to begin with?<\/p>\n<p>Their medication will likely to still work. Even though it has been a year, resistance is not very common. Will he be able to get a viral load test after a few weeks? This will let him know that his treatment is suppressing his viral load again and that it is working.<\/p>\n<p>As the medication expires in 2024 it will still be suitable to take.<\/p>\n<p>Josh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have a friend who hasn\u2019t taken his meds in a year and now he wants to start taking them again.
