People will react differently to HIV and how their CD4\/VL load responds cannot give definitive timelines of when they were exposed.<\/p>\n<p>As she does have a high CD4 count it is more suggestive of a recent infection but this cannot be confirmed. Some people can remain with a high CD4 count for months\/years after their initial exposure.<\/p>\n<p>How is your girlfriend coping?
