I have been on medication for many years, all working well but switched to Biktarvy in February. Had bloods at six weeks and all ok. Had bloods at 6 months and showing high liver enzymes (I think that’s what she called it). She said not to worry and the retest in two weeks (6 weeks after last bloods). I was told the Dr thinks it’s mostly my liver realising I have switched drugs.<\/p>\n
I’m thinking about it now and am just wondering if that could be true as nothing showed at six weeks after switching medications? Also if raised at 6 months then surely that’s an indication of a potential problem? I’m going retested so it’s being followed up, I’m just getting a little worried. Even though I was told not to worry 🙈. I’ve never had any issues at all with my previous medication.
