What is the name of the meds you normally take? and do you know what your viral load and CD4 count is normally?<\/p>\n
As this would be almost 2 weeks without meds, it would be recommended to start again as soon as you return home. You would also need a viral load test booked for a couple of weeks to check that your treatment is still working.<\/p>\n
From undetectable it usually takes a week for viral load to rebound. Testing again will make sure your viral load returns to being suppressed.<\/p>\n
Given the duration of time this it, it wouldn’t be recommended to rely on U=U until your viral load is confirmed.<\/p>\n
