Have you been to see a doctor to have your results confirmed?<\/p>\n<p>When testing positive you should start anti-retroviral therapy (ART) as soon as you can. Apart from having your positive status confirmed, there are no more tests you need to do before starting treatment.<\/p>\n<p>ART is a combination of 3 drugs (usually as 1 tablet) and is a daily treatment. It is used to suppress HIV in your body and stop it damaging your immune system.
