This is the best and only thing you need to be taking to reduce the risk of HIV transmission to as low as possible.<\/p>\n<p>When on treatment, the risk to baby is less than 1% when the viral load is suppressed.<\/p>\n<p>Treatment is safe to take while pregnant and during breastfeeding. There is no risk of harm and is the best way to keep both you and baby healthy.<\/p>\n<p>Baby will also be given treatment for a short while after birth to reduce the risk even further.
