It is great to hear that you are both doing well on treatment with undetectable viral loads.<\/p>\n
As you are both undetectable you are already doing everything to prevent transmission.<\/p>\n
When on treatment with viral loads as low as yours, the risk of transmission is less than 1%. IVF will not eliminate this risk but you are both doing everything you can to prevent transmission.<\/p>\n
Baby will also be given their own treatment for a short while after birth to reduce this risk even more.<\/p>\n

Good day, my wife and I are both positive and we have been trying to conceive naturally which is not working maybe because of age.<\/p>\n
We decided to go go IVF and we are already in it, my wife has started the IVF treatment to prepare her body.<\/p>\n
My question is, hope after artificial insemination (IVF) is being transferred, the baby wuld be free of hiv (negative)?<\/p>\n
Hope transferring by IVF won’t affect the baby status since we parents are HIV positive.. Though we are undetectable in viral loads.<\/p>\n
