The swelling is an indication that your immune system is fighting an infection.<\/p>\n<p>The headache and fever could be associated with an underlying infection and the swollen lymph nodes a sign that your body is fighting it off.<\/p>\n<p>You shouldn\u2019t be worried but as with any symptoms, consult your doctor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi<\/p>\n<p>I have been HIV positive for 9 years and on medication for the last 4 years. A week ago I developed lymph node swelling which after a week or so it cleared without any intervention.<\/p>\n<p>However, three days ago on my right armpit I felt pain and swelling about 2cm in circumference accompanied with slight headache and feverish.  What could be the cause of this?
