If you are based in the UK then all the above mentioned tests are free on the NHS and there is no need to go private. The services are the same.<\/p>\n<p>One &#8216;fourth generation&#8217; test is all you need. They are over 99.5% accurate 3-4 weeks after a possible exposure. They pick up all types of HIV.
