It is not possible to cure HIV by taking herbs and vitamins. In the case of Andrew Stimpson there are several possible explanations to why he initially tested positive and then tested negative.<\/p>\n
The tests Andrew had were antibody tests which look for the bodies immune response to HIV. He did not have a test that looked for the virus itself. It is possible that he was one of the very few people with what we call \u2018immune tolerance\u2019. This means his body did not make an immune response to the virus. As a result his tests would have been negative even though he has the virus.<\/p>\n
Alternatively, Andrew could have been infected with HIV particles which were malformed and so unable to establish an on-going infection.<\/p>\n
Although it is extremely unlikely, Andrew could also have had three false positive tests initially through a faulty batch of test kits which could account for the incorrect results.<\/p>\n
There are several explanations for Andrew\u2019s scenario, unfortunately curing HIV is not one of them. However, there is a great deal of very interesting research in the pipeline to look for both a cure and a vaccine. I believe and have faith in God. I do not believe the saying that there is no cure.
