This is one of the things we can only give general info about only.<\/p>\n<p>Please ask to see a different dermatologist.<\/p>\n<p>What is your CD4 count? If it is less than 350, then perhaps ask your HIV doctor to be involved.<\/p>\n<p>If it is higher than 350, then this is not likely to be related to HIV so a better dermatologist would be good.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, I think I have been HIV positive for many years without knowing it.<\/p>\n<p>I found out in December 2023 because of folliculitis that has persisted since then. The dermatologist prescribed me the HIV test. As soon as I found out, I started antiretrovirals almost a month ago. However, the folliculitis persists and the pimples on my face itch so much that I can no longer go to work.<\/p>\n<p>The dermatologist in Morocco told me they no longer have a solution.
