I had what was described by the GUM as a very low risk exposure. (Protected oral, and licking chocolate off a stripper’s chest). Until now, I’ve had the following tests:<\/p>\n
30 Days – Duo – negative
\n60 Days – Dou – negative
\n70 Days – GUM – Clinic antibody negative
\n80 Days – Insti test Negative
\n5 months – GUM Clinic Antibody negative.<\/p>\n
The problem is that I have been having a lot of symptoms since the event occurred including fever, night sweats, weight loss, swollen tonsils, and now i’ve developed twitching.<\/p>\n
I’ve been to the GP several times and they are puttting everything down to anxiety, and hence, I have tried councelling and even hypnotherapy. The problem is that I am feeling more and more fatigued, severe headaches, and have been feeling miscoordinated. I have had a fungal infection on my penis and I am still extremely worried that I have HIV.<\/p>\n
Due to the twitching, I have finally been referred to a neurologist, and it has been suggested that I have an MRI done.<\/p>\n
What are the chances that these symptoms are related to HIV and not something else.<\/p>\n
