We have answered this question a number of times in the past. As far, as I know there is no cure at this point in time. But we have to remain hopeful that one of these days one will be found. You can also have a look at our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.i-base.info\/qa\/?p=367\">previous responses.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Many people mistakenly think there is a cure &#8211; almost 60% of adults in an international survey by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.macaidsfund.org\">MAC AIDS Foundation.<\/a> People confuse &#8216;treatment&#8217; with &#8216;cure&#8217;. They also think that treatment is much more widely available than it actually is.
