It fights back the virus quite successfully. Usually, this is the case when a certain period of<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am 24 and have been recently diagnosed HIV-positive.<\/p>\n<p>I got back my first baseline results and am due to go back for another next week.<\/p>\n<p>My inital results were CD4 590 and viral load 309.<br \/>\nThe consultant said that this might indicate that either my immune system was good and effectively finghting the virus or that I had been infected with a weak strain.<\/p>\n<p>I want to know a bit more about how I should interpret these results and whether there are different HIV strains?
