Why are you so unhappy?<\/p>\n<p>Your treatment is working really well and you should be making plans to get the most from life now, rather than waiting for a cure to come.<\/p>\n<p>Although the research is exciting, a cure, if it can be discovered, is likely to be at least ten years away.<\/p>\n<p>Even the current meds improve the chance of most of us living into out 50s, 60s and later. If a cure comes it will of course be great, but try to get as much out of life now in case this doesn&#8217;t happen.<\/p>\n<p>You have only been positive for a couple of years, and it takes time to come to terms with HIV. I am sure you are much stronger now than when you were first diagnosed, but if you are still finding it difficult, try and find someone you can talk to about this.<\/p>\n<p>Do you know other HIV positive people? There are also some good online discussion groups including at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poz.com\">poz.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love this site. My meds are doing the trick. <\/p>\n<p>I am so sad all of the time and just stay hopeful all who are suffering will see a cure!
