Abacavir and lamivudine are both &#8216;nukes&#8217; or nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. Nevirapine is a &#8216;non-nuke&#8217;. You can see the different drug classes in <a href=\"https:\/\/i-base.info\/guides\/files\/2010\/07\/ARV-chart-Apr2012e.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">our drugs chart.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Simvastatin can have an interaction with nevirapine which requires a dose change of simvastatin.
