The benefits of ART are not just to your own health. Treating your HIV will reduce the risk of your baby having HIV to almost zero.

Vertical transmission rates are at an all-time low in the UK of less than 3 in1000 (0.3%) among diagnosed women living with HIV. 

ART almost completely prevents HIV transmission.
