The update to the i-Base guide to HIV and hepatitis C (HCV) coinfection is now online.

The guide has been revised throughout to include dramatic advances in the UK in access to new HCV treatment.

This has led to nearly everyone with HIV and HCV coinfection being cured of HCV. There is also now access to second-line treatment for the few people whose first treatment didn’t work.

There is also access to second treatment in case of reinfection with HCV.
