Can we have children, my wife is negative.

I’ve been positive for 6 years. I’d like to have a family, is this possible? My wife is negative.

    Hi Jackie,

    Being HIV positive shouldn’t be a barrier to having a family. As long as your husband is on treatment and has an undetectable viral load, then the risk of him transmitting HIV to you will be close to zero. Please see the results of the PARTNER study for more info:
