How should i take my Stribild?

I am on Stribild. How to take it? What about taking it with fat? I want to make my treatment as effective as possible.

Thank you for your enquiry. It is great that you are wanting to make sure you are taking your meds properly.
Apart from the importance of taking it with food there are no specific recommendations. The European Medicines Agency does not specify that it should be taken with fat but research says this may be important.
There are cautions about separating any multivitamins you may be taking from Stribild by at least four hours. This is because of potential interactions with elvitegravir. The only other caution for Stribild is that it should not be used by people who have previously had to stop taking tenofovir because of kidney toxicity.
