Where’s the cure?

It sadly still looks like an HIV cure is being compared to finding alien life forms. Is there any optimism in 2018 for a cure? I had high hopes for antibody drug cure but it seems as though antibody drugs will only be used for vaccine development not treatment for a cure.

You’re right, sometimes it can feel like the potential cure for HIV is like an alien form, does it exist? Is it out there?
The work that’s being done is endless and people all over the world are dedicating their lives work to finding a cure. I do think that one day a cure will be developed, however when this may be isn’t possible to say.
ARVs, though for some not ideal, they really are amazing at controlling a persons HIV. So for now, we’ve ARVs.
