Will lemon juice affect my HIV meds?

Can lemon juice or lemon itself affect Triumeq intake?

I take these meds after I have dinner (or during dinner) and lately I have eaten a lot of raw lemon juice in my salads (close to 2 lemons) lately.

I am wondering if the acidity of the lemon can affect the pill intake.

Adding lemon juice to your food won’t have affect your HIV meds.

Although some HIV drugs need to be taken with food, Triumeq can be taken with or without food. I

    Hi Tony, thanks – most people start HIV treatment soon after they find out the second HIV test is also positive. Some clinics might do this on the same day, or in the next week or two. Please ask your doctor or clinic when you will be given ART.

    Hi Tony, is RVS a rapid HIV test? If yes, then the next step is for a blood sample to be sent to a laboratory to confirm whther the result is really positive. A small percentage of positive result are sometimes wrong. Yopu should only start HIV treatment – called ART – after this second test shows that you are definitely HIV positive.

    Hi Samuel, do you know what the number of your viral load is now? In most cases this is a lab error or a random blip in your viral load which is a normal thing to happen. Have you been offered a second test to confirm the result?

    Hi, I have been told that my viral load is detectable. I have for years been undetectable. What does this mean? What can I do to undetectable?
