Can I move on?

Dear Charlotte or whoever answers this,
I had an Abbott finger-prick rapid test at 32 days after exposure and it came back negative. Is it accurate? Can I move on? The doctor said is 99% accurate at 4 weeks and told me the 3 months window period is not recommended.
Answer
Thank you for your question.
This test is very accurate. Your doctor is right that a test at 3 months is no longer recommended as modern tests are incredibly accurate at 3-4 weeks after a possible exposure. Rest-assured you do not have HIV. You can move on with your life.
