Can doxycycline be taken with ARVs?

Good day. I am on Acriptega ARVs and was prescribed doxycycline 100 mg for tick bite fever.
Can the 2 drugs interact negatively? I have been feeling very dizzy and weak but this even was before the doxycycline was prescribed. What could be the issue?

Thanks – it is okay to take both meds and there is no interaction.
The tiredness sounds more like a symptom of tick bite fever.
You should hopefully start to feel better as the antibiotics start to work.
Doxycycline is sometimes used after sex as prevention against some STIs.
This is called doxyPEP.
