Are there any risks when you are HIV positive to infuse sterile saline in your scrotum, using sterile administration set and butterfly needle?

Any injection can be a potential route of infection. The information at this link emphasises these risks, including gangrene and amputation.

HIV status would only probably be relevant if your CD4 count is very low.
