Have the Australians discovered a cure for HIV?

I have recently read in a local newspaper that Austrailian scientists have discovered a cure for HIV. Is this true?

Unfortunately, a cure for HIV-infection has not been discovered.
There are many new drugs that are in development by different companies and organisations, but, so far they only reduce levels of the virus, rather than eradicate it.
Most probably, your local newspaper has described one of those new drugs.
If a real sure is discovered, it will be reported by every news channel in every country.
